Locomotion is a family run business providing in home and online music lessons throughout the GTA since 2008. Music, relationships and community are at the core of who we are. Our goal is to inspire creativity in our students so they can fall in love with music, while developing skills and techniques to grow as a musician.

My son & I have been taking lessons with Dave for a couple years now and we both can't wait until lesson day to arrive each week.  Dave brings such incredible energy and experience with him.  We feel so very lucky to have found him.  My son had tried a couple of different teachers before we found Dave and since Dave has been with him his progress has grown exponentially.  Thru Dave's tutelage my 11 year old son is now at the point where we never have difficulty getting him to practice and he very often sits down at the computer to learn some of his favourite band's songs. My 2 children LOVE their teacher.  She is positive, friendly and really connects with them - and they are learning!  My son is getting really good at the drums and my daughter the keyboard.  Shortly after my kids started their lessons I decided to start lessons for myself with locomotion and I'm really enjoying the experience.  Sabrina and Dave, the owners are amazing. I'm taking guitar lessons with Dave and he's the best. His experience shows in the way that he comes to each session filled to the brim with lessons that are tailored for me. The pace is excellent - it's fast enough for me to stay focused, but whenever we come up to a gap in my knowledge he addresses it thoroughly. We've been using FaceTime and it works well. Peter has been a great teacher for my 7 year old. We have made a fairly seamless transition into virtual learning, thanks in large part to Peter's patience and willingness to adapt.
