Sam is always surrounded by music. He’s taken the time to develop his skills and successfully fuse his passion with his career. As a performing/recording artist Sam can provide great one on one knowledge and practical advisory through many aspects of music, performance, production, showmanship, technical/theoretical, arranging, songwriting, voice acting, djing and music business. Throughout his training. Sam has also developed a wide array of musical prowess, exploring multiple genres in his lessons, Pop, Classic Rock, Jazz, Classical, Musical Theatre, RnB, and HipHop. Music is his passion and he strives to share it with the world.

He is a vocal graduate of the Humber College Contemporary Music degree program, and has been training in the music fields of jazz, classical, and contemporary for over 10 years. Through his time at Humber, Sam has studied with various musicians, such as Greg Wells (Adele), Rik Emmett (Triumph), Ian Terry (Celine Dion) and Denzel Sinclaire (Diana Krall). Sam has also had the opportunity to work with London based producer/songwriter/programmer James Sanger (Madonna, U2, Phil Collins) and has rehearsed and worked with Toronto based Musician/Producer/Songwriter Alan Shiner (Pizza Pizza, Coca Cola, Mariah Carey and Drake). After acquiring his degree Sam quickly found that inspiring others to create and enrich their lives with music was as rewarding as being on stage and performing. He began teaching throughout Toronto at various academies and schools.

Sam has been teaching private vocal, piano, guitar and songwriting classes through Etobicoke based academy Locomotion for about 3 years now, with future hopes of working with them to develop a music therapy program for students. He is also employed as an instructor at both Mississauga Fine Arts Academy and the Canada Music Academy where he teaches DJ and production lessons as well. Sam loves finding each students unique passion and catalyzing it, he’s really good at connecting in his lessons and tries to make each session as meaningful and developmental as the next one. Sam not only has 12 years of vocal performance to share, he’s been eclectically growing his musicianship throughout the years. Sam is trained in voice, piano/keyboards, guitar, production, songwriting, cajon, djing and voice acting. Growth is constantly apart of a musicians journey and Sam is a pure example of that. He always puts himself after others and makes sure the student leaves his lesson with not just knowledge but inspiration.

Brandon is a University Educated musician, who has been performing, recording, and composing music for over ten years. He attended High School at St. Thomas Aquinas in Brampton Ontario, where he successfully completed his diploma through the schools Regional Arts Program in Instrumental Music. Primarily as a guitar student, Brandon also sung in the school’s competitive chamber choirs, and played saxophone in the school’s competitive big and jazz band ensembles. The groups toured around the U.S and Canada, competing against other high schools in each of the four years he attended the school. Upon receiving a scholarship to study Jazz Guitar at the University of Windsor, Brandon joined the school’s chamber choir in addition to studying under a number of Detroit based guitar professors. Since graduating, Brandon has performed hundreds of live performances in and around Ontario, with a number of cover and original bands. He has been writing and recording original material since 2009, and has had the pleasure of working with producers such as Gilby Clarke (Formerly of Guns n Roses) and Norwood Fisher of the band “Fishbone.” Currently, his band “Drop Top Alibi” is recording with five time Juno award winning producer / song writer, and original “Glass Tiger” drummer, Michael Hanson.

   Andrew is a guitarist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, performer, and educator with seven years of experience teaching students of all ages. He works primarily with students learning pop, rock, and jazz, and has taught all kinds of music in between. In April of 2024, Andrew graduated from Humber Polytechnic with a Bachelor of Music for guitar, with honours, where he studied with Toronto guitar heavies like Jocelyn Gould, Nathan Hiltz, and Kim Ratcliffe. As a songwriter, Andrew has written and recorded a full-length album and two EPs worth of original music, all set to release between late 2025 and early 2026. He semi-frequently performs music live between his own works and work as a side person on folk, jazz, or R&B gigs. Andrew plays and teaches the guitar, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, bass and beginner piano and drums.  

Naveen is a dedicated and passionate piano teacher with 18 years experience in piano study and a growing background in music education. Beginning at a young age, Naveen has achieved Level 10 certification with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and has developed a profound mastery of the instrument with a deep appreciation for its artistry. Naveen's academic pursuits include a year of formal music education at Western University, where he expanded his theoretical knowledge and refined his performance techniques. Currently, his main goal is to immerse himself in hands-on teaching experience in hopes to help nurture the next generation of pianists. Through teaching, Naveen aims to inspire passionate learners and foster within them a love for music. He hopes to draw on his extensive experience and training to provide a supportive and enriching educational environment. Demonstrating dedication to both his craft and students, Naveen’s goal is to encourage those who attend Locomotion Music to continue to develop their journey in music, increase musical confidence and ultimately enjoy their learning experience with him.

   Emrys is a dedicated performer and music educator specializing in piano, voice, violin, and viola instruction. Growing up in Niagara, she began music and dance lessons at an early age, joined the Niagara Youth Orchestra as a violinist and violist at seven, and earned her first teaching position at fourteen at the local music conservatory. She holds an Associate Diploma (ARCT) from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Piano Performance, as well as her ARCT Harmony & Counterpoint, History, and Analysis. In addition, she has completed RCM Level 8 in Voice and Viola and Level 6 in Violin. After graduating high school, she moved to London to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Piano at Western University, where she also performed as a violist in the Western Symphony Orchestra, played in numerous pit bands for community theatre productions, and earned a Choral Scholarship at a local church. In 2025, Emrys spent two months touring Canada and the UK as a synth and electric bass player for a rock band. She wrote and released an original EP with her London-based group and founded the city’s first “GRRRLS JAM”, an open jam night designed to create space for women and girls of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Passionate about exploring new styles, she especially enjoys arranging and performing music from her favorite video games, movies, and TV shows. Drawing on her rich performance background and extensive teaching experience, Emrys fosters an engaging and supportive learning environment for students of all ages. She is committed to helping learners achieve technical excellence while encouraging creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.
